  7. Brought some alloy front hubs from a company in Ireland called Group 4 fabrications http://www.grp4fabrications.com/ Paid for them on Monday and they were at my house Thursday morning, Epic Service in my book. The hubs are a direct replacement for the factory 86 ones but have an in built 10mm spacer & they look swish as shit Just need to replace the front castor arms as they are shit "hardrace" ones and bent, im thinking either Driftworks or T3 then the front suspension/steering should be all done. MAD!!!
  8. fuck man, i just flicked through your thread and miss read & thought you flagged the RZ for a 20v because of the headers. THANK FUCK I WAS WRONG!!!!
  9. and slip ons are a legal no-no also. and 16" momos, come on man...
  10. all done, front is max low, rear can still drop about 30-50mm if i remove the height adjustment perch things. 14" settlies with flat tires prob dont help the levelness.
  11. fitted stuff up, albiet the wrong way so the caliper is at the back not the front but its on and all fits and doesnt hit anything!!!! shit is close tho the grease nipple for the ball joint is like 5mm max from the rim with the 50mm RCAs 280mm disc in through a 15" sportmaxx / max suspension droop!!! sweetness discuss viewtopic.php?f=18&t=30651
  12. well im back in the country and all my shit has arrived!!! about to go fit everything. The wilwoods and the MRP/Fortune auto have just been at the surfab fantasy factory getting the fronts welded up, had a wee steel plug made to go into the remains of the factory strut and the adjustable tube for a bit of added strength, was made by TRANSIT engineering on Francella st Linwood, Cheap as chips and took less than 24 hours, top service !!

  15. yeah. have the car on axel stands and jack up the arm that the spring sits on till its captive, then jam the shock on to hold it there.
  16. This. get it to hold the spring captive then 1-2 extra turns to hold it in there is how iv always done it.
  17. boring picture-less update...... finally got myself back in the black so have started amassing stuff for the car have purchased 1 Bosch 044 fuel pump, 2x fuel pump brackets (1 for the 044, 1 for the 070) and some MRP/Fortune Auto coilovers, should be the goods, next will be the wilwood order =) edit, found a pic of said suspension, shit is flash

  21. glow plugs would be my first bet, prob the cheapest and easiest fix too, possibly glow plug relay also. glow plugs will sting you like $25 ish from BNT or repco
  22. Learner Driver!!!???? all this effort to make it mint and you / your letting a learner drive it??? WAT!
  23. those wheels are so sweet for what they cost. my flatmate got a brand new set when they just came out for $500.
  24. 99.9999% of people with adjustables put them in set the height and thats it. thats how the majority of competition (drift) cars iv com across) are run, maybe the odd damper adjustment but iv never seen someone adjust preload "hardness" as you said it. and most of the stuff iv read lately basically says that all the cheapish coilovers (BC D2 Tein xyz cusco etc etc) the adjustment actually doesnt do sweet fuck all when put on a shock dyno.....
