  4. Oil slick happened to me when I was 17 in my '66 1100. I had the old non cartridge oil filter that must have blocked somehow, ripped the central bolt and thread out of the block. knackered the canister, but retapped a new bolt and got a few pick a part bits. All fixed for about $4 + oil and filter which hadn't been changed in about two years.

  6. one day I'm gonna upgrade my 1300 to one of these. used to do mean surf trips in one of these circa 1996. That statement makes me feel old.
  7. I put electronic in my 1300. Best thing I ever did, there a kit on trade me for about $100 works sweeeeeeeee....... super easy to fit.

  9. thats a beautiful ado you lost to your gf sister! You must of been gutted! I've got a Morris 1300 that I'm just starting to do a little work on. Changing to a metro carb, new extractors, elec ign .... etc etc blah blah I might steal that paint job in the future, looks f***in choice!!

  12. would there be enough room for two? I've been told by others that there won't be.
  13. Is this an involved process on a morris 1300? or a simple bolt on, hook up, and set up? I really have no idea...
  14. what sort of engine oil did you run in your 1300? A guy told me about something 50, really thick- good for older engines. any idea what that might be? (I knew i should have written it down!!!)
