  1. As any good candidate, I will arrive 5min late and order from the place that is the busiest. My policies are for the benefit of the Auckland people.
  2. This is of relevant interest. BYB 9:30am sounds perfect.
  3. Can he save the exposed intercooler look on a mini mustang? Looks sweet on steels man.
  4. Oh man, you have the Escort disease. Get well soon hahaha. Road-race car is what I recommend. Duratec would be the go or Cosworth V6, to be different.
  5. I used a small part scanner, can't remember the brand. Not sure about handheld scanners. You could also use a cmm machine
  6. Awesome casting you have done man. From personal experience try avoid 3D scanners as they can be more of a hassle than drawing the part in CAD as they miss data points and are useless for shiny objects. Also Sketchup is a good basic CAD program but has a problem creating a accurate stl file for 3D printing. Stick to SolidWorks and the like. Finally for $800 what you get is pretty awesome. The motor's, extruder head and structure is worth it. I wouldnt reccomend anyone get anything less than a MakerBot as they have a good resolution. Sorry if spam. Has anyone used other plastics such as Nylon as a mould?
  7. Question mark? hahaha We may need to try a new place next time.
  8. Ok, Mercury it is. You Pitt st fellows definitely have poor food court tastes hahaha. Either way its food.
  9. Re: Ronal Turbos/Compomotive Turbos
  10. Not the greatest pic but here is two different styles on one car. Revolution fronts and Alley Cat wires At the end of the day its all up to you. Some 15's can look good, but they ain't minilite spokes.
  11. I think Mercury Plaza is the go. Mexican next time maybe.
  12. I have 13x6.5 inch wide Lotus steels on 195 profile Kumhos. 205's rubbed the inner guards but may be sweet for a MK2. And yes 13inch looks the best. What style of wheel are you looking for? Ronal Turbo's are a different choice but look good.
  13. Ah, this would explain why I did not see you at work yesterday. Wow that was close.
  14. Those flare on the Mitchell RX3 are sweet but I don't think they'll match you car. RX3's have more dynamic curves, dare I say it like MK1 to MK2 Escorts. Yours being more MK2 like. Possibly shapely flares like this could work: These have always appealed to me but may be to subtle You may wanna follow the nice swage line along the rear 1/4. Keep up the sweet work.
  15. Love it! Looks great. So awesome that you know heaps on the history of it. Hmmmnz is you man if you need help Velox advice (//oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/user/10058-hmmmnz/) Keep up the good work PS I added the discussion link on your thread to make it easier to find.
  16. Thats all I have Theres some more of Sierra Tundersaloons here: http://www.fordpower.org.uk/forum2/index.php?topic=799.0 Edit: Heres some more Sorry to bombard your disco with Fords
  17. Amazing work! Super cool that you cast your own brake rotors. A friend is building a new rally car for the new Extreme rules and is using one of the Demon Tweeks heaters. They are tiny and appear to be converted radiator cores from Computer cooling systems with a computer fan. Keep up the sweet work,
  18. What about these for flares?
  19. Just read bout that in NZ Hot Rod. Its appalling how the bush just breaks like that. It looks like its made from ABS plastic.
  20. Cant make NS pre meet sorry. Gotta get bits for Poo
  21. Yea 1/24 would be easier. But 1/43 could still work. Who make the resin kit?
  22. The answer is to buy this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/BMW-met-silver-beige-Ready-made/dp/B007KL7EGU Print wheels, paint, slam and make life like diorama. Opinion will be decided in 1/43 life
