I remember that car when it showed up on Speedhunters I was all "WTF" then all *drool*. A more tidy/non rat one would be so mean, I wouldn't think there are many of these in the country?

Fuck this is cool!! What's the plans for this? Enjoy as is, or restore to original condition?? Looks to be in fairly good nick for something off that road that long.
-
Load. Blown.
-
Looks like a nice start to the build!! Be interested to see what else you have done
-
That's the other point, you'd need to cert it which is $500, plus you'd want to do suspension at the same time, I reckon you'd be looking at over 3K easy. Depending on what kinda nick the Hunter was in you might need to fix up some rust, then paint on top of that. Might be worth buying the Toyota and putting the motor aside, could probably make most of the money back selling parts - seats etc, and then the shell to the scrappies.

Yeah I usually go along but my aunty arrived from China yesterday so was otherwise engaged. Next month I will be in China myself so will miss two in a row -
So this means it's not being sold?? Good news, I can admire the amount of time and effort put into this car, and would be great to see it at its former glory

This is exactly what Oldschool is all about. Buying the cars that no one believes are saveable and then trying to save them! I wish you all the best of luck...reckon you might need it haha!

You might already be aware but there is green Diesel BX in Lower Hutt Pick a Part at the moment. Heading up on Sunday if you need anything and can't get out there?? -
Why didn't Luke tell me about this earlier, I would have jumped at it!! To tell the truth though it probably would have just sat there collecting dust if he gave it to me.... Keen to see progress on this

Sounds like a plan! Whereabout in Wellington are you mate, and when suits you to come pick some up - ideally over the weekend
-
NOMZ!!

The STOP light I assume you are refering to? The light is on but goes on and off when going over bumps etc so would assume I need a couple of litres in that case? Will look tonight at where the float is..
-
Haha yeah well I'm only needing some to top up the BX I got off Borgweiser. How much do the systems take? How much you charge per litre? Also, what kinda container would work? Fine to bring old coke bottles or similar haha?
-
As per title, looking for LHM in Wellington. Any idea's folks?
-
What this guy says. Seems a bit rough and not really worth putting too much effort into haha. Also that muffler/milo can is horrible!
