Ok will do that, it has a slightly ground cam, have no specs as this was also already in the engine ( wish i had thought to ask for all these details before i got it)
Not sure to be honest, brought like this, engine was running fine, then exhaust gaskets went as intake/exhaust was loose, so i didnt use it for a few months and finally got round to doing the gaskets, so i done them and now it wont run right.

iv got a 4k with twin carbs.
Firstly should i be running vacuum advance? few articles iv read say no and few say yes? your ideas?
What should the dwell angle, points gap and timing be set at? and best way for setting these?
Also im after all this as it idles fine and revs fine. but as soon as i try go up a hill or accelerate fast it bogs down, any ideas?
