What would have to be done to the driveshaft? i'm guessin the splines are not compatible?

I've decided not to buy a new engine for my 75' Hillman Hunter and have decided to work the original 1725cc but i need help on a gearbox...I haven't a clue of what (if any) 5 speed gearbox's can bolt straight on with no or not much work...Help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm 17 and have a 75' Hillman hunter as my first car and have been looking around for a Engine with a bit more power and was looking around the lines of a 4age. A guy down the road had a Toyota Trueno Sprinter with the 4age 20-valve 'Silver Top' and he had a crash which pushed in the front, but it only damaged the radiator. He's offered me $400 for the whole thing. I was wondering if this would be a good move as i would want to put it in the Hunter?
