  1. Over 1.1mil views, doubt there are any 3s hilux vids with that many views...
  2. 1kohm will be fine, you can adjust scale in the software anyway.
  3. I recognise that car! Give it death
  4. Hmm weird, mine definitely doesn't have 17digits, I wire brushed it all and the extra digits didn't appear I know its 1990+ as the voltage regulator is shown in the manual as being the 1990+ version. I'd be keen to turbo mine if I could find an oil supply to feed the turbo with - I've got a few tiny turbos laying around
  5. My vin is really weird by comparison, unless its not the vin and just another number. I found the number AJ45A-105973 on one of the chassis uprights on the back. You don't have a spare voltage regulator by any chance? Mine isnt charging currently
  6. Any leads on how to work out the year from the vin number? You've spurred me into working on mine again I found this manual if you needed one https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/okCno/fi-bbf7899f-ee74-4dcb-8d4e-b0a1ba7b7924/fv-7b7ae76d-c7e1-4289-b33d-5a4e2fc934ef/1987 - 1998 Suzuki Quad Runner 250 King Quad 280 Service Manual.pdf
  7. What size tires are you running on yours? Mines the same quad - starting to question the size of the tires on it TBH
  8. I've got some in stock but it would be far easier to raid the wreckers
  9. Definitely not $50 each - super common at wreckers and you can buy off ebay/ali if needed. Yeah they come with the big clip or not. Also some Toyota water temp sensor plugs are the same and green too
  10. Looks to be a standard Bosch EV1 plug? Should find them on Holdens and Euros at Pick A Part / Zebra. Worth a try anyway.
  11. I hit those guys up in the link and unfortunately they dont stock the sizes that are on my quad. Almost thinking of changing the tire size but I guess being 4wd they need to be the same fonrt/rear ratio?
  12. Do you have any recommendations for a supplier for quad tires? Too many burnouts means I really need a set for mine so 22x8.00-10 and 25x12.00-10. Im quite surprised how much they cost on Trademe and there doesnt seem to be too many wreckers selling reasonable second hand ones. Cheers
  13. Painting that diff is banned, unless its using paint of the dazzle variety and by variety I mean pink.
  14. Holy shit balls thats amazing. So start up soon then?
  15. Or Aeroflow pump, generally cheaper than Walbro and long lasting in my experience. I buy them from Engine Parts Ltd in Silverdale. Get some discount now so yell out if you want one.
  16. I had the same issue with mine, I cleaned the carb out and reset the float level and its been mint ever since.
  17. Its a 40c resistor and about half an hour to do
  18. I'd recommend running it off the ecu if your able. I do this for alot of setups using Link ecu's. You can change the primary resistor in the tacho so it works or fit a step up relay although I don't really like that method
  19. Its the STA pin. The engine will run without it but badly. It tells the ecu the engine is cranking and it holds the timing and applied a crank prime.
  20. Boost till bust... Like you have a choice muhuhahah
  21. You could always use a turbo to soak up all that extra fuel... Just sayin
  22. With that delicious big fuel pump you should add turbo now
