Yes but that prevents scrub, go for adjustable spring plates as well if not already on. Can shorten shafts app to prevent masses of neg camber, as cool as it looks tyre wear is a bitch plus fast driving sucks a fat one -

You know what I'm gunna say, but without sounding like a suck nut you sir win the prize.. Please don't go sanding any panels etc, Cali Look FTW May I suggest more power? Would be happy to help in building up another 1885 screamer for this with dual bugpack and 40 DRLA's Fuck yeah, makes me want another, know of a chopped oval just crying out for a split conversion and mega drop and smooth black with peppermint and white interior (car wank) Send me a Mercedes and I'll send you an injected 1600 twin port wrapped in a fastback body -
Short answer, yes everything modified needs cert, give us more details on the model of Velox and the motor choice and I'm sure one of us can help out..

Pretty much my feeling, the way a steering box behaves on the road is different to on the bench. I would check everything over again and use the prescribed method- ie consult actual VW manual before proceeding. I would hate for another splitty to end up wrecked because of a steering seizure.. The top cap being rubbed by the peg tells me there isn't enough shims TBH

Looks to me like you are missing something, also don't think that spacer is the original one. I would suggest stripping whole box and looking for damage to bushes, worm etc first before proceeding

shallow grave you reckon? -
condensor bro then reset everything, remove dashpot and set jet level at 1.5 mm aprox to start then set timing

Nice one, heres my idea. Take blanket, seat covers and floor mats to the tip, lowerage of course, early steel grille, paint wheel inserts a contrasting body colour (cream or red to match interior) rub back wood and apply darker stain. Mazda 323 pistons to 2.8 spec, LSD and a custom made megasquirt injection system and reduce rear camber when lowered by modifying A arms. Photos of Mk1 2000 please

MG batteries tend to be higher so they touch the seat springs with hilarious results.. Nek minnit - car in flames six volt is sweet as, have hundreds of bulbs for 6 volt if you ever get stuck. Converting to 12v also makes the wipers alarmingly efficient and the indicators rage like a dubstep looser after a week on the fries Shouldn't have any trouble ordering the correct 6 volt battery and a quick google will most likely give specs.. Only benefit to 12v conversion is lighting and faster starting, but after converting to 12v a number of times on pre 67's lo and behold the lights are still shit.. Extra volts just shooting more light in random directions apart from road. To answer your question- all pre 66-67 beetles are six volt. Tell her to sell it to me please -

Without meaning to sound stink, if you have to ask what's involved it may be easier to sell and buy a manual one. It's pretty straightforward as Beave said, but you will need to pull the car into a million bits, and then there is the diff ratio, speedo drive/calibration and differences in body due to the auto having a bigger transmission tunnel and different floor pressing. Not to mention cert etc, which even tho not overly important will affect value if not done. Basic cars to work on but you would need a complete donor to do it properly. elaborate on engine size/specs etc and someone might even have all the bits on here. Start a project thread too, Mk3's are my fave, if it's a wagon giz. James

Looking for a nice dry garage in Wellington
Borgweiser replied to M Night Shamalayan's topic in Lower North Island Region
Sorry dude, onto it -
probably plugs, stuffed leads? check points, coil? could have stuck valves do compression check before going any further
-
Definitely not running on four, a VW motor should idle no matter how low the revs/almost unstallable. Sounds like one side is pushing the other etc.

The answer is yes, same building as above, 20 bux a week, 24 hr access and cameras etc. Pm for deets chur -
Awesome, I have had two of these, a T5-R manual and a T5 auto, auto was way nicer IMO and faster.. Bulletproof motors and comfy as fuck interiors, so jealous on the price! Will be watching 850's with interest again I had mine cheap as piggyback chipped and wound up boost, on last ever drive up to auck saw it nearly off the clock. 285 speedo Watch the rear suspension and check for damage, passive rear steer bends up easy if curbed or crashed and nearly impossible to put right ( reason for selling yellow R ) Solder up all fuse box connections and ABS control unit pins usually fixes the flashing light issue
