  1. 015 'should' be sweet i ran one on my 13b with no trouble all the way from the boot. the 020 is supposed to suit 6 or small 8cyl i think.
  2. fair enough, i would suspect slave next if not. sounds like your on the right track anyway with the hydraulics.
  3. how olds the clutch? if its been replaced the flywheel may not have been machined with the correct step. OR if the rear main leaks, which is pretty common, the clutch may not be engaging properly and it doesnt want to go into gear at that/any rpm until that oil has burned away by driving. has the slave been replaced or recoed? clutches can be fiddly bitches at times, im on my 3rd different sized release bearing just to get the correct amount of freeplay
  4. i could prob work around the fence depending on the place but would obviously still need to be allowed him.?
  5. Hey all Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but thought it wouldnt hurt to ask; The wife and I are looing for a place to rent in the welly region. im staying in pram at the moment so all good to travel a bit. i need a garage and most importantly a place which is DOG FRIENDLY. ie fenced and not in Stokes valley haha. willing to spend up to 400 a week. so if y'all know of anything or anything coming up i will be keen to hear. shits dried up as of late. We are professional, quiet tenants with refences. Bottle of piss for finders fee cheers,
  6. it will be piss easy to replace, most repcos/ partmaster etc sell frost plugs but youll have to fish it out 1st to get the correct diameter. you should be able to borrow or buy a simple tool to wind it out like this http://www.naed.com.au/images/648452w.jpg you may as well do them all while youre at it they cost about $2 each
  7. yeah go dan this thing looks even sweeter in the flesh and im no honda fan
  8. pan pacific should do cash trade iv got stuff in the past
  9. ive got a nice male staff that looks just like yours if you ever wanna make some pups. my boys needs the action!
  10. just wanted to troll and say you car is my hero. keep up the good work
  11. just drove it from auckland to wellington, didnt miss a beat next on the list is a bit of paint/panel tidy up to get it as close to mint as possible. cheers dan, may take you up on that. need somewhere to work on it till i get a place.
  12. i think if you want a cheapish wheel these would look ok if you went for a set of 9's. i have sportmax 15x8 on mine and 9s would be just right imo. then just slam the shit out of it http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 370971.htm
  13. is it the rubber or metal pipe thats got a whole in it? you could easily jimmy up a rubber hose to replace the original or bybass the heater in/out hoses see page 24, avail at any part place http://www.partsland.com.au/Catologue_P ... oseWeb.pdf
  14. if youve tried a new trans and nothing changed i would suspect the trans ecu. Also it should take about 8 litres to fill if both trans an TQ convertor were empty maybe ring a parts place for a listing.
  15. battery in the boot will just make it hard to start. and i doubt 6x9s will fit in the front. otherwise all the best. get a manual box in there so you can have some fun
  16. xd3005 excel gd829 bosch Should be the part numbers for the cap and rotor, you can get from dasko in silverdale or a partmaster store.
  17. yeah as long as key is on should work as normal. you havent left something small like the knock sensor on the back unplugged have you? i did that on my 16v
  18. short inserts wont lower it more it will just make the stroke shorter and whatever spring you have captive. it allows for a shorter spring or lowering spring with a coil or 2 cut off. ring autolign they will proabably be able to recommend a place if you cant do it yourself. or you could pull one side out at home and take it in. expect to spend over about $200 per pair of shocks. just get the matching lowering spring in the rear and match up a shorter shock from a hilux etc, same idea as the front.
  19. haha love that ad. plan for tomorrow is cut a coil off the front springs as they have far too many and replace the release bearing as it is still the wrong bloody size. then off to the hero meet.
