  1. I thought exactly the same. Glad to see another Mitsi not going to the scrappie
  2. EX top hat on Starion struts. Starion steering knuckle on EX ball joint. (or complete Starion arm)
  3. I think that diff is actually out of a Lancer. Im pretty sure that all turbo sigmas were IRS. The lower spec import sigmas did have a solid rear disc diff but im sure they were only 8 bolt. You can find the 10 bolt diff in a few models. GSR Lancer EX Most 2WD L200s Some 2WD L300s Sigma Stationwagon (not aussie assembled) I also read somewhere (I think http://www.lancerregister.com/) that you can fit the Starion LSD in to the 10 bolt housing with some machining.
  4. I asked that question too viewtopic.php?f=1&t=22374&hilit=km132 In that thread there is a part number for it fro Mitsi. I never pursued it.
  5. Is the pin splined? Cos ive been hitting it and it doesnt seem to move.
  6. Hey Trigger Sorry for bugging you. I found the write up but for the life of me I dont know how the shifter rod comes out. Ive got the whole extension housing off and by the looks of things the shifter brackets on both ends of the rod are attached by grub screws. No matter what position I have the shifter rod I cant get at these grub screws. Pics Am I missing something really simple?
  7. Chaos on here successfully purchased some Nolathane bushes for his Lancer. 'EX' is not the model name/number. You could try A171A, A172A, A175A (Jap import models)
  8. I think the NZ EX Lancers were LR-LS?
  9. I dont hate. Cant deny how reliable them engines are. For an easy conversion, theres nothing easier than a 4G63 turbo. Pref from a VR4. Most of the information you need is here - viewtopic.php?f=48&t=7862 Also a good site to trawl thru is - www.projectzerog.com
  10. Im actually going to Horopito this coming Monday (30th April) Can give you a heads up if they have what you want, if you want. Whats the deal with purchasing parts? I recall seeing a Sigma wagon there and would like to maybe grab some parts from it.
  11. Nice car man. Is this the same one? - http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewto ... lit=corona

  13. What was the name of the tyre shop? Might have to pay them a visit and calibrate their torque wrench
  14. yeah i cut it down last weekend so now it doesnt face down and sprayed it black. cheers man if you have same lip as me you will have to trim guards as they are shorter than standard ones, your may have already known that but im more than happy to do some measurements, what are ya after mate I managed to get some GSR guards to suit. Im wondering if there are brackets to hold the lip on. Are you able to see if there are any 'L' brackets and if there are, are you able to measure them? Im hoping that theres mounts here Any help is much appreciated

  17. Haha, yeah I just saw that. Was gonna post it in your project chat.
  18. First off, I would like to thank those that have chosen my wagon to be nominated for two awards. Even though I have no show against the others, im so happy that my lil wagon crossed the judges minds. Bit of a stink update. Finally fixed the oil psi gauge issue with a brand new sender. The gauge use to sky rocket to the max when the engine's not running. Now with the sender unit fitted the gauge remains at the bottom untill the engine is started. Not sure if its reading high or not but its working. Now its actually dependable. So now all the gauges are working as they should. Happy. Also picked up some extractors off trademe. Dont really need em but may use them if I decide to rebuild. Would look sweet if I was running the twin carb setup. Rebuild is looking more and more necessary every day. BLUE SMOKE!
