  1. Not really the answer your looking for and assuming you dont want to see it I would get a little brush with some gloss black hobby paint or the like and paint the sealer down inside the groove with it will be way less noticable and easy to do again anytime. If the sealer is black you wont need to do it again.
  2. Yeah the red one looked mint , but i love that fact the new one is a racecar It comes with all kinds of history and all the stories from people of what and where its been will entertain you for hours
  3. out of curiosity what sort of dollars is he after for the setup
  4. Thinking about having a bid on a pair of 16" tires down there. Anyone coming up able to pick them the address in welly and bring them to whakatane / tauranga / taupo ? in the next month or so Tires are on some rims but dont want them, so more than happy for you to scrap them if you dont want to transport them.
  5. +1 Had to drive a 93 corolla wagon for 4 years before i could afford the rx
  6. Any luck ? got me interested now that i might be able to remove my mirror without looking horrid.
  7. Yeah - mirror on the door of mine has holes underneath and thats the only reason i leave it there Will probably machine a stainless block and weld it under my guard then paint the 1600 then i have the option of attaching when i want
  8. The mirrors any really big enough to see anything, you look how big they are comparer to the newer vehicle ones. Mine is on rx2 on the drivers door , find it easier to turn my head and look as the car aint exactly big. You looking to do something like this ? Dereks car Definately a aesthetics thing , diffent fokes different taste. I just would by the best looking ones
  9. would be equally as keen to see your project Gaz! Yeah gaz dying to see what youve been hiding at rotoma. I have one of them bullet mirrors on mine on the drivers side door , only good for asthetics if it didint have two holes holding it on it wouldnt be there. You gonna bang them up the front on the guards?
  10. Id shave those bump stops (cut and sand them smooth - like they arre factory) and run it till you have the cash to go to some BC's Cut spring will be fine in there as long as it is captive for what your currently doing. my 2 cents...............................
  11. Love you work , Is an inspiration to all us owners Cant go wrong with gunmetal (reminds me of MRGRIM) as it seems to work on almost all cars and you get this wicked contrast happening with the shiny bits I think ill go to watanabes one day on mine , when the budget allows.
  12. Gutted - missed that over the weekend damn it Any takers?
  13. ill pick it up as i wanna go check out his rx3 anyway Be in taupo from 7am monday
  14. Derek lives on western drain road if VG wants to pick it up on the way home
  15. You are trolling? Insure this and alarm it and when someone you hardly know from the internet offers to come and "help you" on it at your house tell them no. When you sell stuff to people on trade me, don't let them see the car or even better meet them at a petrol station... Couldnt agree with this more - people must think im dodgy when i meet somewhere to pick stuff up etc but the less they know about whats going on in my shed the better. When we first moved to tauranga we were renting and the owner had the house on the market the price was so high no one came to view it. He then lowered the price and we had about 4 open homes before it sold.............................................. You can imagine my amusement when im down at well know company in tauranga we get started talking about cars, and up comes the that someone had seen a one at an open home under a car cover last weekend. Was on the market for 420k i think so wasnt think it sold for 360k
  16. I can pick it up off derek on the weekend if i have the time, i need to go see him sometime anyway. Any take to taupo on monday if anyone is going through.
  17. I have a short wheel base one - free to a good home as well
  18. Have some tires to come from hamilton back to tauranga (1 set) anyone able to bring them for me ? Am doing Tauranga - whakatane - Tauranga this weekend if anyone wants something moved otherwise i would make a trip over........................otherwise will be nats weekend i guess..mmmm r100

  21. Used it in my sr20 gearbox in the datsun to block up some of the holes and hopefully stop the oil transfer problems the s13 gearbox has. (hopefully the oil isnt breaking it down)
  22. Or run the jig saw around the back of the couch in 12" diameter hahhahaha
  23. Might have on that bandwagon too , have some b45s in 4x114 and always thought id have to get them redrilled in between for the 4x110.
