Find a manual w56 in a estima people mover at pickapart there a $125 from memory and will be pretty mint from being behind a poo 3c-t. Only the small problem of them being shifter linkages on passengers side of the box and cable floor shift. Would be easy to bash/weld the trans tunnel to make room for the shift linkages then run cables into cabin and mount the factory estima floor shift with the bonus of having a remote gearbox shifter to mount in perfect position to suit you. Cheapest way to go W series Would be hori as but meh

Run the van up to temp with a bit of a drive Find the diagnostic port and bridge E1 and TE1 terminals (I think) See what the check light does and count the sequence of flashes to get fault codes http://www.troublecodes.net/Toyota/ This site should explain it a bit better

Just came in from fitting this Got it off an old corona at pickapart, was a perfect fit width wise just needed the ends trimmed down add a few cable ties and its looking the business. I have found that 90's townace bump stops are half the size of hilux ones but use the same bolt spacings so im on the hunt for a set to get the front down. Scored 3y injection gear of TM for cheap Im considering running a s/c or turbo on the 3y once injected for sweet oldschool powerup

Jeez long time since an update Found some old 2' blocks at the olds place so got some motivation to get this low finally They fit sweet but need new u bolts to install them Decided to take the bottom leaf and flip it on top. Im happy with the end result for time taken, the 14's always seemed too small when it was jacked but they fill the rear guards nicely now, although im looking for some suitable 15x8 rims Got about 80mm bumpstop clearance so need something smaller before the blocks go in then it will be sitting perfect with a little guard roll. The front needs smaller bumpstops to get to the right height, so will visit pickapart asap
