Add chicken wire and i'm most of the way sorted. Mrs caught me plotting the other night Being a cat lover, she was rather unamused and loudly proclaimed this So I pretty much need to carry on to make it worthwhile.

Just seeing it anyone out there has one I can borrow. Not after one that kills, just catch and release. Just need to teach the local cats that i'd prefer they shit somewhere else. Don't think you need odometer is required. Well on a petrol anyway as they don't really do much. Diesel certainly a different story. I'd say GPS isn't legal for the exact reasons you state. Needs to work all the time. Tunnels / forrest covered roads etc would give you no reading.

Paint some on a bit of metal and see if it dries? Could be wrong but 1k should dry quick and 2k may not as needs hardener. Probably best to wait on pro advice, but yeah.

Proper irons are large and heated on a gas burner for ages to get up to temp. not your typical home jobbie though which tends to be crappy 50w electric irons. anyone use one of those 100w gun sort of looking ones? any good?

Using flux? If not it's like night and day for getting solder to stick. That was when I did some galv soldering anyway.

I'd put money on handbrake switch over old fluid. I just don't see them being that smart / my fluid would be a few years old no issues.

Put grease on face and motorboat the bearings while thinking about bewbs, good plan.

I don't know the "rules" but last time I did some on a trailer I got wheel bearing grease (was pretty cheap). And I just kneeded grease into the bearings until it was all filled and no air left. That was a few years ago now and it's been passing WOF's so can't be too far wrong. I don't know if you NEED to use wheel bearing grease mind you.

Yeah, been a while since I read about it. However I think any exposure is bad, the more exposure you get, the worse off you'll end up.

Would spraying outside mean you don't have to be quite so covered up or nah? I think i'd rather use a lesser product and avoid such nasties I think. I assume it's a lesser product otherwise there would be no need to the deadly stuff.

You'd only want to try inert stuff I imagine to prevent reactions with metal. Just a guess though, but anything that is full of chemicals is probably a bad idea.
