  1. Give it a call and see if he answers Damn those look nice!
  2. That's pretty low km! You have PM
  3. Dibs if you ever want to sell it. I had one but it was too far gone rust wise, seeing how mint yours is makes me want another! Sweet project, will watch for sure.
  4. Pretty sure my old Corona had the aerial screwed to the A pillar from factory. Have seen it done on many other cars too. Was one place that rust wasn't an issue. So if you do drill, put some sealant on the screw / hole to keep moisture out.
  5. The photo of it successfully lowered to an acceptable height isn't loading for me...
  6. A couple of brackets to relocate the calipers would have saved modifying the rotors / having pads not fit correctly That said, the current pads in my daily are smaller in foot print that the ones they replaced. So different pads could well sort the issue too if they are smaller. I'm not sure how well the pad will wear down on the centre of the rotor when the pad on the machined section of the rotor wears down.
  7. Wasn't looking TBH http://www.pickapart.co.nz/stock.asp?yid=7 Not sure what year bg are so check the list
  8. What about sending them the clasps you have and getting them to make belts with them on? May or may not work, just throwing the idea out there.
  9. Popped in today and saw this: Marina 4door Wagon - 1974 - White - Petrol - Manual 1800cc It looked pretty tidy, lots of good parts still on it, some hub caps inside etc. Was rego'd till Aug this year so not sure why it ended up there. I could have missed crash damage though as I was too busy looking at other parts. But yeah, just a heads up anyway incase anyone needs bits. Front chrome bumber / grille / head lights all looked in good enough condition.
  10. When i'm at home tonight i'll see if I took any close up pics of the hammer finish I did.
  11. Talking from experience having tried before? I brushed my bike with hammerite and it was sweet. I didn't use the smooth finish though but it came up mint. I'd at least try brushing some before spraying. I don't see the point if it will be just as good finish. If you want to spray it though, why not just buy the spray can?

    Cavity Wax

Are you going to block the drainage holes in the doors with the wax? Might not be the best. But I could be misunderstanding your plan.
  13. Drugs I think. Or possibly this: http://oldschool.printmighty.co.nz/ My money is still on drugs though.
  14. Yeah cutting them is a one way path. You may no longer be able to fit wheels again safely without the spacers due to studs now too short. I assume it's getting certed anyway so won't be changed.
  15. Very impressive fab work, watching this!
  16. As mentioned warped head could be on the cards if it was cooked well enough Agreed that is pretty sharp pricing to do all that work.
  17. Just the plastic ones for mags? Give Mag and Turbo a visit
  18. Yeah flat stick tonight so won't get out to look till tomorrow, flick me a PM to remind me tomorrow and I will aim to have them in Wigram area thursday PM or friday AM.
  19. How did you get on with the puller? Can have a hunt around and find my home jobbie compressors and leave them in Wigram this week. Would just need them back within a couple weeks as i'll likely need them myself. edit: Just have no idea where they are right now... they aren't where I last recall haha
  20. Sorry Craig, just remembered i'm busy that day haha.
  21. Depending on when you're planning to do it I can lend a couple of hands. Not that that answers your question.
  22. Totally forget about this. Did see a nice Cortina in Akaroa yesterday though. Along with what I assume was a Datsun run.
