Yep, get some heat in the steel, and just roll for ages, winding the roller out bit by bit, have to take your time tho, or the gaurd will get all warped and fugly.

Yep, I just went out for a drive each night, loaded it up through the gears, then engine braked back down, kept it under 3500rpm to start with I think, each night going about 500rpm higher in the rev range, worked well. Just be careful of traffic behind you.

(if ya dont mind me asking) If you have rolled the lip in already, you may have to roll it back out, or just massage the guard out? Is amazing how far you can pull them out just by rolling and forcing them out, that should work on the rear, its the front that looks like it will be the mission, may have to flip lip out and shape/bog/paint.

My 86 only has about 20mm suspension droop, and seems even less in compression (seems to use tire side walls as suspension?) never had any probs with WOFs?

Hes making his own "stack dash" style dash at the mo, should be a heap better then the stack dash (they are pretty pointless TBH) and about a 1/4 the price.
