you can put a bit of oil down the bores. Let it sit in there and run through for a while. Gently crank over by hand.

those small black boxes are relays, clicking means its working. if you unhook your horns for example by unplugging them, if you push the horn button you'll hear the relay clicking. pull the starter motor out and put 12v on it with a battery. its good fun
