  3. I'm pretty sure I stopped next to that bridge when we did the lap of the south in big red. went down by the stream for a wazz and stood in some freedom campers pooze right in the middle of the track cam, 31, feilding.
  4. that'll do it. to me from your snapchat it looked like your gearlinkages are like a cock in a shirtsleeve with slop. that'll always put you behind the eight ball. get that shit all snug and you'll prolly find it's much better anyways. we get people come into work that think they need gearbox rebuilds but after $50 of gearlinkage balljoints they're rollin' nice again
  5. yeah vmx80 or a 75w-90 GL4. just saw ya snapchat haha. Have you tried popping it through without clutch/double clutching spec? very odd lolz
  6. My old l300 was always like that. So was pajero. Try doing a change with the correct viscosity shit. Made a difference with both although both weren't amazing for cold shifting. Column shift aplifies the issue
  7. smack some widened steels that are about half the normal rolling diameter on it. oldschool.co.nz
  8. +1 that bit from stratty to whanga is super awesome.
  9. whanga pub lady lets ya know not to park under trees coz the pack of roaming feral goats in the township stand on them to reach the trees spec.
  10. I love how people feel the need to quantify things in units like that.
  11. this was great! Everyone had ripstarters upstairs at de coree and it was good.
  12. choice! now to shift it from one side to the other........ crane? 10 propellors? persian slaves?
  13. TEN PROPELLORS AND A CRANE you got a man to shift container? I used to do parts for that MF Robertson joker when I was at multis (the guy with one truck that has a swinglifter and 1829018028109 trailers near te-marua on SH2) and he did a good as deal to shift a couple of sea-cans for cubastreet. can prolly get his number for ya
  14. yeah man he came and bought two rusty steel wheels from me to go on his LWB S1 Landy. Drove all the way from the hutt in his SWB S1. Seemed like a super GC
  15. met an old fella called burt today with a vk wag with a 350 etc. was telling me how it's lowered an inch etc etc he's a KR employee so I was like you might know me ol' mate Chris. he was liek "I'VE HEARD OF HIM" must be a bit slammed for his tastes
  16. engine at 110-120kph probably more efficient/uses less gas than at 80-90 by gearing and the extra wind drag at that speed probably doesn't add enough extra effort for the engine to overcome which would result in more fuel burn/suck up the difference. I know for sure that'd be the case at least for my ute in regard to gearing. You use probably very little extra throttle input and the engine seems much happier at 110-120 vs 90-110. also when on cruise control and you hit hills it loses less speed.gets less acceleration effort inputs from cruise control at the higher speed that makes little sense but yeah.
  17. giz that landy! oz imports seems to be the go these days
