  1. Serious question though. What shops are in the area for night one? Is the a piss shop? Food shops? Pub/greasy spoon?
  2. Last year I got a $40 kmart tent, and bed roll on the back of my twist and go. Knowing what I know now I could be 100% self sufficient if I had to be, and was camping. Fuck I'm beaming to not be tenting though!
  3. Of all the forums I've looked at, that one has the most switched on people, and accurate information
  4. The forum I'd try first is forabodiesonly.com if no one there knows, someone will know where you can find one.
  5. I had wondered if they were any good. 4.7 v8 jeeps are getting pretty cheap now. More that likely they'll be less shit than a v8 range rover. (But probably still terrible in different ways because 'murica)
  6. Those were actually a merc engine. So it's fairly unlikely theyll share much with their gen 3 hemi engines.
  7. That's going to be too nice to park scooters in now! Won't be safe to parK them in there freshly dripping with motu road mud and dust
  8. Re your rear main seal fix, I'd pull off the whole sump and reseal that too. And it's not shown in the earliest Haynes manual, but there's supposed to be a tiny bit of sealer on the bevelled corners of the rear main cap too. (I had a few engines which still weeped after id done my darndest to.seal them.up. then a later manual revealed that hack I'd missed.
  9. A $40 K mart job has a fly. I'm cured of sleepeing in tents after last year.
  10. I dropped a bunch of coin there last night and didn't know about that. I used to get rotors skimmed for $20 a pair. So that was my go to. But now that ship has sailed, and a mechanic at work said yeah, thinner discs have less thermal mass and will tend to want to go wobbley again. And new rotors are so cost effective I just say fuck it now and go new. I got stung $90 to skim two last time. So that's a big game over cobber for the skimming guy from me.

I have a spare 44. Came out of a dodge of some kind. I think it came from something else originally. .
  12. Ronnie Dio the AF18 for me. Prep will be replace broken plastics from when I dropped it a few weeks ago. And either burn the pipe clean, or fit china spannie. No bedding or tent means I'll need to carry a lot less. Won't even need the pack rack I made last time. Underseat storage is legit a.f. any other wounders gong to be rep ping twist and go? @sentra?
  13. If you know any auto sparkies, (they don't deal with people who don't have a trade account full stop) get them to try Pan Pacific.
  14. Question two, AN/ dash fittings/braided hose, how do the numbers relate to a size in a real work measurement? I'm looking at cheap treasures from the Orient. But those numbers don't actually mean anything to me?
  15. I don't recall your van being untidy enough to need a respray?
  16. Pity bout the bloke who owns them! :-p
  17. Perfect for the undertaking Tori! I look forward to shit yarning you to death in person..........
  18. It does look woundingly slow. The last time I ever rode my NQ50, a lycra fag on a push bike passed me on my way to work. I retired that bike that day.
  19. Great thread. I can almost smell the cutting oil. where abouts do you work?
  20. Just a thought. was it running with no air cleaner in that vid? Two smokes are jetting from the factory to have an air filter on. in my experience running without one they'll be a bag of dicks/not wanna go any good. (I had one that wouldnt start with the airbox off)
  21. Paint filters must be much bigger holes no? Because paint is much thicker than coffee. My recolection was it was a vert slow process getting used motor oil to pass through one.
