  1. If I was going for a modern engine then VQ35de would be the go. Not stupid money, (no drift tax) tons of power, and plentiful. But for.ease the a15 is pretty easy too. Dont go 4k. A15 have bigger valves.
  2. Man I wish this was right now. A pack of 40 lunatics on small shit bikes running the illegal blockade. It could be a sequel to the Nigelwade movie.
  3. You can buy relays that go open circuit when energized. So just wire one of those in off the oil light sender.
  4. I havent powered mine up to hear how it sounds, but Subaru leone have a low pressure fuel pump. They're very hard to find on the car if you're pulling one off a wreck. (I had to ring Subaru Richard to ask where the fuck on the car Subaru hid them) But as a lift pump for my 620 I've bought one off rock auto. Typical rock auto prices too. I think the second cheapest one they had (I never buy the very cheapest one off there, well, almost never) was like $23usd. And its brand new. Someone once.said that those low pressure pumps get less rowdy once they're dead headed. They drop.back to a slower speed.
  5. Be prepared for a number far far below the one stated above.
  6. 150hp? On what dyno? Was it in a hyperbaric chamber, with an atmosphere of pure oxygen? The a15 is a great engine. Things to bare in mind are, the van ones have a smaller cam than those from the b310. Some van engines have an inlet manifold which steps down (which gave more clearance on the underside of the drivers seat in the van) this manifold is less performance oriented. A series love to rev. I supercharged one a good while.ago. on 11psi, it pushed a 1200 to a 14.1 second quarter mile. One downer is, that 5 speeds are expensive. And the four speeds arent abuse proof. (Although they do have 2nd gear closer to 1st, so they're quite nippy) Since you're in Christchurch, go talk to Damon at Rocky auto on port hills road. He runs an A15 in his 1200 ute. And hes a dab hand at setting up and tuning delorto carbs too.
  7. How is sue? I'm going to turn gay and opt for big wheels. That gravel is so rough, a CR500 would struggle.......
  8. I just came across this photo of this car in its former life. Thought I'd drop it here for old times sake.
  9. I've seen the turbo Nissan crowd pack up their bonnet hinges with washers to allow hot air to escape the engine bay after it's been through the radiator.
  10. Fuck yeah, Gordon Ramseys roadside kitchen FTW!
  11. After I sell our rfb 'goon I should be able to seal the deal with cash monies my bro. And if you dont make it, perhaps @BLIZZO could bring it up?

  16. Are these any good? I scored it for nix from a friend after she cleaned out her dads garage. (Along with a box of stop smoke/stop leak/ etc.etc)
  17. Gas cylinder question How long do they last before needing retesting? My F argosheild ownership has 2004/11 stamped in it. And its almost empty. Might be time for a retest?
  18. I worked at the cemetery next door back in early '96. I'd always see dirty bogan cunts coming in to collect things they'd thrown over the fence......
  19. Hey if your pics.are too big, take a screen shot of them. That should take them.under the 3.91mp limit.
  20. They're lucas, the odds are they wont go anyway...........
