  1. how are you trying to do it ?? are u trying to put four bolts in or just the one through the rubber mount?? if your tyring to bolt four bolts up take it out and try doing it with the one big mount ...meth was trying to do the same thing with the 2ltr

    Fuel Pressure Regs

    ok with agree with meth u dont need to change pressure just flow with larger injectors ( haevnt gone too dep into efi but computer should regulats this according to pres in fuel rail?? if not then u'll have to reasearch what pressure it need to be . lowlancer im no big guy on petrol BUT u'll want a high flow/low pressure pump to surge tank thena high pressure/ whatever flow from surge to fuel rail ( of your choice ) think diesel pump ..has high vol low pres pump supply the high pres low flow pump ( if u feel the need) ...my 2 cents

    yea the pressure regulator stops the bowl over filling .in your mechanical pump the diaphram get pushed down and disconnects the drive of pump , so no doubt that car has a electric (i dont even think 4ages came with mech pumps) in electric pumps that dont have shutoffs so just keep pumping thats what your press reg is for
  6. carby cleaner or brake cleaner would work , but u can buy sepcial carbon cleaner that dissolves fukin anything dangerous stuff took off fingerprint off one of my well...fingers , also there is this cold dip alkaline stuff thats just as bad melts skin off like acid etc

  12. shiiit 1600 that expensive me = can re-seal a pump with my eyes close did soo fukin many of them top o-rings keep fuking out due to no sulfer , umm is there that bio diesel shit does that contain some sort of additive??

    1600 into Mk1

    i noticed a increase in torque immediatly but in saying that mine was freshly rebuilt and a possible mild cam , but yea it took me 4 hrs to do on sat morning , extractors fitted but they rested on the firewall ...i just siad it was feet heating for the winter..

  16. so the 4g63b can bolt up to a 4g52 box??? , this kinda stuff should be stored in the workshop section aye everyone kows how to do a 2ltr pinto conversionbut i have heard shitall about other engines ..mods??
  17. archer ftw , make leafs for trucks to has to be good , with the u bolts i think its just there for a safety thing in cade the bolt decides to come undone (it has no washer and threadlock it place) ...thats a stab in dark tho

    haha go phil , but yea tru story bout new engines and diff cars had water sending on the fritz cos my 1600 motor had diff sender to the guage in dash ...went all over the fukin show ddnt trust so bought guage and unit as one ... solved it stiaght away....
  20. shant be but u may need to drop the engine down a bit if orig motor was kent its a few inches higher due to the ohc on it, to me simplen procudure too drunk to explain atm tho

    yea easy way get a oil pressure gauge and check manually that way u know what psu oil at ..alwys good thing to know not that expenisve saves rebuilding motor again due to oil starvation
  22. yea loose terminal can fuck it big time , but it sounds like a vacuum leak to me ....i have a vacuum guage in vegas i think , will tell u for sure
