Heres the 250 with the donk out and spare motor awaiting attention. The kick start one way bearing is toast in the motor that was fitted and also has a bad oil leak. I picked up a whole lot of parts and another engine for a 100 bones , pretty stoked until I found the sump bung was welded on the motor I brought Oh well see what happens....

Here is the 250 when I first got her , I have since rebuilt the carb , unseized wheel bearings, repaired the wiring/wired in correct wires for the cdi , had the engine running and removed the engine from the frame

I have a new seat cover for the 200 but have not found any suitable foam and materials to refurbish it myself yet.. any suggestions would be mint thanks

Hey guys and girls. I have two honda ATC's, ones a 84 200es which is up and running. The other is a 85 250es which I have had to do minor repairs and also repair the frame down by the foot pegs as it is completely rotton I fell in love with the trikes and have become slightly addicted to them. Here is a pic of the 84 200es I want to get the 250 up and running then I can pull the 200 to bits and clean it up .

Well thanks for the build thread. Gave me inspiration and hope for my build. -
Had a little play with my welder today. Complete fail , feel like I'm back at square one but as the old saying goes " if you dont use it , you loose it" Time to put in the effort and learn.

Have any of you guys done the cube challenge? Mig/tig/stick weld up a bunch of pannels to make a cube. Was thinking of doing it to get too where I need to be to do more repairs on my escort. It gets pretty boring laying weld after weld on a flat piece of steel. Any other ideas to make welding practice not so tedious and boring ?

Hey man , Hows the escort gooing ?

You SIR are a gentleman and a scholar !!! The parts will be greatly appreciated ! Im not looking forward to taking my swingarm off as it pretty rusty where the through mounting bolt goes in. Ill pm you

Where abouts are you @johnnyfive ? How much are you after for the frame And the brake setup? That box section around the foot pegs is where mine has rusted out . Also check your swing arms underneath that towing hitch as mine has rusted through behind it.
-
@johnnyfiveyou dont happen to have rear brake assembly spare too lol. Noticed tonight mine have seem to be missing. Yer everything:(

Man , that looks like soo much , Love hearing the starlet rev out and watching you busy as behind the wheel ! Keep up the good work.

Hey man , nice escort ! There is a guy on youtube that has done the front wing/guard repair and has done it stage by stage so you can see how it is done. Check it out , makes it look pretty simple using cardboard cutouts as templates. I started doing my guard following his directions and so far so good.

Tonight I had a look into the carb over fueling as I had to drill out the slow jet as it was blocked solid. I ended up drilling it out but I think its fucked now as its pouring fuel out the back of the carb. So I disassembled the card , ready for when I buy a carb kit for her. I thought I'd look into the wheel bearing play on the left hand rear wheel. Took the castle nut off, which was loose, had a quick look at the splines of the hub. They looked ok, so I tried to crank up the castle nut to no avail. The split pin wouldnt fit through the hole as it's not wound on enough. I removed the hub again and had a look at the wheel bearings and it seemed they wernt pressed into the axle tube enough. So I punched out the bearings and cleaned it all up , what a mess ! Anyways reassembly another night as I'm dangerously close to too many beersies for this kind of mechanical work. Cheers

Thanks man , What sort of condition is it in ?

Hello friends , so I decided to get my 84 honda atc 200 a big sister , although she is a bit sick at the moment. I brought the 200 and got it going well but decided I needed another trike in my life. Sooo I brought the 250es from a guy up by Horopito car museum. Got it for a steal but boy it's a big job. frame rusted by foot pegs, motor not running , massive oil leak from left hand side cover . I have fixed the side cover gasket and also had the motor running now. I put the 250 up on stands tonight so I could make this build thread. So far I've brought a second hand CDI for it , brought another rear rack and fixed the wiring and repaired the wiring behind the kill switch. The previous owner couldn't get it running. I plan to get it purring , then strip it and repair the frame. cheers. Sorry bout the novel. top bike is the 200es that hoons.
