I just brought a air feed blasting helmet. helmet, cartridge filter, breathing lines has cost me about $1900. the helmet was a large chunk about 1100 all up inc gst. so yeah not cheap, but the filter and.lines would be the same if feeding a painting hood.

Any one here know how to connect motorised gates. I installed gates here last year but get a bit lost trying to get the 3 different wiring diagrams to work to gather.

so I could have 17x8 and 18x9 on the cert plate? that would open me up to a much bigger range of BMW factory wheels and tyre options long term

yes any further mods or changes to the car will need to be re-certed. basicly do everything you want to to the car then get it certed. everytime you go back you will have to pay.

Plastic and paint stripper are not friends. If the brake fluid or oven cleaner won't work I can blast them for you. Pant and plastic are also not the best of mates so paint comes of plastic quite easy. The vapour blast will get the paint off and leave a Matt surface finish.

Often cheap spray bomb paint will come off with prepsol and a rag or stiff brush. Or paint stripper and a wirebrush are also very effective. Use a pressure washer also. May need a few applications and persistence.

i have a set. have used lots with out failing. But the issue i have with them is that they have a quite fine thread on them, as a result they are slow and can be very hard to use when you dont have much room to swing a ratchet. a courser thread would be faster to compress making them easier to use. They are the double claw type but most of the time only one of the two is being used. mine also have 1/2 inch fitting so duga duga duga My 2c
