    Even the old 4 speed btr in the falcons didn't have drain bungs, was a messy job when I did the oil in mine Alot of new cars don't have a drain bung on the sump, oil gets sucked out

    I don't think the intake manifold will pose much of a restriction. Won't find much info on compounds because people seem to like vnt turbos but they are no good without and ecu control, all modern diesels are compounded now

    I'm using a keihin fcr carb on my xr600, they come in many different sizes, I'm using a 41mm of a crf450. A fcr of a crf150 would probably be a upgrade

    Ashcroft transmissions do a heavy duty bearing upgrade for the r380, also fit an oil cooler to it, easy enough to do as the fittings are there it just doesn't go anywhere. 20psi is max what you would run on the standard turbo by itself

    Best way would be to compound turbo it. Use the standard turbo and run an extra 10psi into it with a gt2860 or similar. I was going to do that with my 300tdi but ive gone with an Isuzu 4bd1t and msa gearbox. It's super easy to do and you don't have to make much, will give a far wider powerband than a vnt or single turbo, trick will be to stop the r380 exploding
