Vls run a low pressure internal and high pressure external. So I'm after the external and I guess if needed I can always stack walbros in parallel?

I have done some googling and searching on this forum and have managed to confuse myself regarding which fuel pump to purchase. so here's my issue. I have a dead fuel pump in my car that is a STOCK rb30e, I have intentions on potentially turboing it in the future (no exact time frame) and aiming for 250kw to start with and I don't really want to have to purchase pumps twice. But I'd like to get it up and running ASAP (read before the end of this month) in stock form so I can drive it while I piece together the rest of the bits. factory VLs use a Bosch 070 and fuel pressure is 40psi Bosch 070 Flow rate of 130 litres/hour at 3 Bar (43 PSI) (300hp) I've heard that the Mecca of all fuel pumps is the Bosch 044 200lph @73psi (650hp) or I've just found on the internet a Walbro GLS392 flow rate of 255lph @40psi (500hp) Now here's where I've started to over think and confuse myself as I have low first hand experience when it comes to modifying fuel systems on fuel injected cars I understand that fuel pumps can deliver more and less psi than rating. And volume to an extent can change from fuel line sizing? If I run the 044 It'll probably end up blowing past my fuel pressure reg and be dumping 30psi of fuel back to the tank all the time and I'll probably have overfuelling issues until I change further components. And now my brain hurts/I can't even type what I'm thinking out. Cam someone explain to me how I should go about selecting a fuel pump for my application? or just tell me what to do? im guessing the 044 is overkill? is there a point of running a 70psi pump? would the walbro be a better choice? should I just give up and leave it stock? stay tuned for the next episode where shakotom gives up and leaves it in the shed for another year....

NO Skids or Reckless/Dangerous driving Please leave a space near the fenced off area clear for the cleaners and don't block them in if they are there. Park in a proper carpark! If its full then just use a bit of common sense and try not to park too many people in. Newschool COOL cars please park to one side and be prepared to move if we get short on space. I have had to ask Newer cars to move and park elsewhere and will continue to do so. The old cars get first preference for parking. Don't be offended if you're asked to move your newer car to make space for something old. If it's your mothers Suzuki swift etc park downstairs please. If its raining and we have to park downstairs then new cars park upstairs or out of the way. The covered carpark is very small and needs to be OS only,! One of the guys at work and his grandfather built a fairly beat up black one of these CRXs with a b18cR with the intention of using it in a race series -but got kicked out before being able to race it properly Was on steels and semi slicks, and had the Shiitest looking vtec valve cover they could find at pick apart to discuise the motor/ tipped diesel over the block ect once it was in the car. Went like a cut cat but looked like the motor ect had been in the car since day one. Also had re valved/changed dampening/rebound in factory shock body's. Thing was stupid awesome for what looked like a standard shit box (only thing that gave it away if you looked at it was harness mounts/harnesses But they sold it a couple of years ago

Hey Aim of this thread is to try and get us to get together as a community and hang out more often/meet each other and get our junk going! This thread can be used to organise help/working bees ect. Firstly I think it would be great for those of you who have a scooter or a bike that doesn't run or needs work to try get it going before our ride next year. (As I know there's a few of you out there) I understand it's a super busy/expensive time of year to do this. But where's the harm in trying?

Both my FAs did that Solved one with a rebuild of crab, (new needle and seat) and still haven't got around to the other one Small wheel FA with max slam would look lush imo. Might change my plans for my glitter FA and look for late model motor/small wheels now

I hardtailed my scooter with some sweet metal struts Lasted a day. Too uncomfortable/unforgiving Ended up shorter and stiffer shocks. sits Lower than standard when on stand, and at same height as it was with hard tail struts with me on it. So much lusher Also, sweet whip chees. Can't wait to see plans unfold
