  1. a really pale aqua/turquise/sky blue. in satin. that'd be unusual and cool, if you like that kind of thing...
  2. re cleaning carpets - suggest you hire a rug doctor from your local supermarket.... get the upholstery cleaning attachment. buy the chemicals. you can do your seats, and your carpets... prolly a little more gentle than waterblasting them on the driveway. hope that helps/ I too, dig your boost gauge.
  3. excellent progress! Some shelving to get your power tools and others *off the floor* - when your dry floor fills with water for whatever reason, you can smugface if your tools are already up high.
  4. yeah, great to see you back with another trump Sam. you are the re-embodiment of a 1970's executive accountant, though with an old school twist #8 ) looking forward to seeing your plans for this one!
  5. is that the clayton's group c? ( the group c you're having when you're not having a group c)
  6. hey, good result KK. ISTR post number 600 in this thread....
  7. great progress! are those crossply tyres on the front subframe you've just removed from the blue parts car?!
  8. congratulations man, and one saved from the crusher, eh?
  9. outstanding! I am looking forward to seeing the flames coming out of the 'exhaust'. I recall a few of these in welly back in the early 80's
  10. one wonders what 'highway stabilizers' are.
  11. +1 - this swarf thing sounds like a real bummer. great to see you get this one together, tEd!
  12. far too civilised! sell, profit, start cycle again...
  13. I saw it (the vidjo) yesserday and am still grinning like a grinning thing caught in assembly like a schoolboy who just doesn't give a shit. sounding good to me, looking forward to seeing progress from 'I think I can' on hills to 'Baby I know it'.
  14. mate, if you need a timing light and dwell tach, you're welcome to borrow mine. great to hear you've come so far!
  15. they make a big thing about moules and frites, but after NZ green-lipped mussels it's a bit of a let-down. the Tintin museum in Brussels is pretty cool. more pics! #8 )
  16. lets see those teardown pics man...
  17. great renno. and man, total score on the lounge suite - our neighbours had that one in the 70's. theirs was beige vinyl, dark mahogany timber. Morgan brand? No money in re-cladding; if it's sound, just give it a quality repaint. A heatpump would be the only thing a first home buyer would be looking for when you flick it on. Kudos!
  18. You guys could have an OS QJet setup symposium over a weekend, club in and get a return ticket to Welly, provide bed, food, airport transfers, and rebuild kits; bring in The Spence, get through, what, 5 or 6 QJet setups, have it shot and documented by a photographic member, create resource for OS and a number of clean, lean-running fee-eights. "profit" or is it "Prophet Spenno"?
  19. man, photobucket sucks-ass. can't see dick, though there's plenty of "Look who's popular" for exceeding bandwidth. don't get this with flickr.
  20. looking very sharp, Eddie. I am loving those new wheels - who made them?
