Truenotch
I've got one with a bluetop that's probably a lot less fucked. It runs. Let me know if you want to buy it.
HighLUX
Budget for mods is about $70 which is the price of a new headgasket
Dell'orto
Conveniently, a bottle of Rislone headgasket fix is also $70. Mash it in and limit bash your way to happiness, without getting your hands dirty
HighLUX
How well does it run Markku? I only need a long block really. Sounds like all I need to run in at the autocross park is a car that is up to WOF standards so will make it look like it could get a wof plus add an extinguisher and external kill switch to look flash then should be sweet

yoeddynz
Just carefully skim the head and block with flap discs and a level. Mitre ten sell packs of ten for $15. Then use lots of silicone to reseal old gasket. Again M10 will be your friend here. When doing the bolts up just give them one extra turn each past max torque. Then come back to us with photos of the result. Would be a nice thing to see on a Friday night.

thegreatestben
Engine out in these is easy as there's no subframe. Trickiest bit is getting the car high enough to get engine out underneath
HighLUX
Engine hoist pit and endless chain will do it easy
