KKtrips
If its hard against the mount (but still fitting) then could you take/grind some off the mount then make the "flexi" a straight piece of pipe to remove the extra diameter of the concertina? Seedy Al
unfortunantly the part i would need to grind away would include some of the rubber so that is a no go. whish I could tho!!! As for the removal of the flexi, I assume its there to allow expansion of the manfilds as they are two piece etc, so although I did think that and still consider it an option, it may result in cracked exhasut pipe maybe? Spencer
Could you dent the flexi inwards a touch? By dent do you mean hit it with a hammer until it fits sweet?

Seedy Al
Hmmm.....think I have found my answer to the problem with trying to get wires to the fuel pump. Something like this should work ok. Time to ask mix master manu for a favour
Seedy Al
Dumb question but not run a VL external pump? Fuel surge is the answer to that Champ
KKtrips
How so?? Also those connections - are they designed to be inside a fuel tank? Just thinking about the connection sparking..
Seedy Al
running external fuel pump on a carb tank, with no baffling, would cause fuel surge, although everyone says oh just keep your wgaon tank a third full or whatever, when your on an extended wagon trip, this is not ideal. that was designed for a fuel tank yes. KKtrips
Ah I see - carry on as you were Smellan.
Seedy Al
haha, also you had me worried there for a tick, but as I will have both the connectors isolated from the tank, and atleast a few centermeters apart, I can see any spark issues happening, guess will see, if I get shot down in a blaze of glory we will know why haha

ryanfels
Could you not run an under car surge tank?
Seedy Al
I could, but I had this disscusstion with a few people. Not really keen to spend the money on such a system. Dont worry, I have a plan As for lowering the tank, its already the lowest part of the car haha And I like my cars LOW
