dabuzz
Great points, I've also sent pics to certifier - but likely ill find brackets and do it properly.
Roman
Damn I envy your clean tank, haha. Surely a 4.3 final will be pretty good once the blower is on?

I know your existing brake setup may have been on there for 20years (assuming a previous owner didn't swap anything etc) but if it was me I would be updating to something that would pass a fresh cert and I was personally happy with. If your going for more power stopping is important (even if rear brakes don't do as much as fronts) I've been in a car that's had brakes fail before and it wasn't a fun experience, probably preaching to the choir but just my 2c Fuel tank looks smick
dabuzz
I appreciate the comment, it's really only the bracket, the brakes work really well, plenty of stopping power, and it's solid as. So really the only issue is that it technically won't pass current cert standards. I've spoken to certifier, he said just leave it alone and he'll make a proper call once it goes in for cert, potentially it just needs an exemption for previously being certed when rules were different, or something along those lines.
