chasinthemirage Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 I've been finding the same thing, my head has already been ported and polished etc but I'm now unsure about the induction side of things. I've got an adapter for a Weber 36/36 for the original manifold but I wouldn't be able to run an air filter with it. I've been wondering about running a 350 Holley or perhaps a big side draught carby but it would probably mean a custom manifold and tbh I've no idea where to start as far as sussing what's suitable. chasinthemirage Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Looking good man! Actually saw your car at Delray a few weeks back when I had mine in there for some work, didn't realize it was yours at the time though. 1 Quote

HumberSS Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Hey man set of triples for a zed car here. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1419386445672831 I had a mk3 as my first car, never actually finished it but it had some cool period-correct fruit including the Geddes speed manifold running a 3L capri carb, and a floor shifter called an 'impala shifter'. It was a kit that bolted on to the side of the column shift box and stacked 1-2 above 3-4 with reverse right down the bottom and back, kinda cool. Sacked on the obligatory widened 13s and in british racing green. regrets.. 1 Quote
Benno Posted March 9, 2024 Author Posted March 9, 2024 Thanks mate. Mine actually came with an implala shifter and some shitty bucket seats. I ended up selling the shifter, quite like the idea of bench seat column change 2 Quote
