kiwi808
If your just cutting straight lines and it's normal glass than a standard glass cutter will work fine. I would have thought you can get them from Bunnings? They basically look like a pencil with a diamond at the end. Scribe a line a couple of times then snap. If it is toughened or safety glass then you are probably better of taking it to Metro Glass or similar and get them to cut it.
Toddy415
I will be cutting normal glass, I was just wondering if the bunning m10 one would be anygood worth a try i guess
ajg193
Get the one with the diamond or carbide bits, ie not the cheap stuff. Use a bit of wood or similar as a straight edge. Lay glass on flat surface with the bit you want to remove overhanging from the surface. Hit the bit you want to remove with the handle end of the glass cutter and it should break free (make sure to hold it while doing this or you might lose your feet)
yetchh
I've always found those Bunnings specials a bit shit so I spent a bit more and got an oil filled one, cutz way more consistent and breaks neater and easier..
SOHC
I have a nice one I got from a glass place, its filled with normal cooking oil but a bit of kerosene works well to, it will cut curves, I saw someone cut an laminated Isuzu windscreen with a router on youtube.
yoeddynz
I used a carbide tipped lathe tool to cut a mirror for the Viva wagon. It was messy but it worked. Discovered however that I cant do corners... so I rounded them with the angle grinder... even messier. Rtv hid the edges....
