The Bronze
This is the seam at the top of the firewall on my XB. My thinking, to get it done is to flick off the shit, grind it back to bare metal, reseal it and paint it. But I have doubts that is proper. It has a lip on the front etc. etc. But, you know, yeahnah?
Nominal
If you want to get a few more years out of it before a weldathon then that would work IMHO, especially if it is kept out of the weather most of the time.
Mr.Mk1
Wire wheel it back or sand blast it nice and clean, ETCH prime or use a rust converter product, then prime and paint. Will hold out for a good while if the rust hasn't set in too bad. Avoid zinc paints, I've had trouble in the past with panel rust flaring up again.

yetchh
That's the same as I have in my xc, you need to get inside the plenum area and clean that up too.. it's a pita but it's one of the factory rust spots..
