friendlyfire
I am wanting to replace my big bore exhaust on my chevette as i hate the droniness of it and wanting it to be more quiet. I want to replace it with just with a straight 2 inch pipe for asthetics. My exhaust currently consists of 1 muffler and thats it. Does my plan seem logical? Beaver
It may be reasonably loud with only one muffler. Just get a small muffler put in place of the big bore and then a nice tip welded on the end
Frosty
I've used these on 3 cars now and recommend them. Nice note and not to loud even with no resonator. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/exhaust/auction-927490656.htm

morkster
Put a 2 inch system on it with a reso before the diff and a dynomax superturbo at the back.
friendlyfire
I dont really like the look of a muffler at the rear of the car, i just want a pure straight pipe out the back like i have on my other chevette. my only main concern is the noise with only 1 muffler in the system, how much noise reduction would there be if i put a resonator in the system aswell? Testament
one of these before the diff http://www.chase.co.nz/category/107/Chambered-Perforated-Centre-Tube and one of these of similar straight through type after http://www.chase.co.nz/part/1679/0/RD2805
Testament
for more quiet the turbo/chambered/multipass style or baffle type muffler at the rear but you will lose some power as they are more restrictive
PedRac3r
There is a thread at the top of this section full of good info about mufflers. I recently just gave one of these a go http://www.adrenalinr.com/productdetail.php?productID=530 and I was really impressed. I think one of these in your system, where ever you can fit it, will give you the results your looking for, and still have have that straight pipe look at the rear. Muncie
Your running a sr20de? These can be damn loud and raspy with straight thru mufflers even with 2 or 3 in there. You need a triple flow in there to tone it down And a reso up front should sound pretty pleasant.
