I got the old "terms and conditions say it can't be applied retrospectively" brush off twice before the supervisor reluctantly put though a refund request, which the finance department or may not approve. It doesn't say that it can't be applied retrospectively, just that It can't be applied to previous bookings outside the promotion time frame. We booked within the time frame, just without the code. But their level of interest in sorting it was very low, until I kept politely pushing and pushing. It may take up to ten days to get/not get my refund.
