Shaz Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 I'm not normally one for spamming with public service announcements, but I'm angry enough in this instance.Some cockstain stole my Grandad's car from Mobil Kilbirnie this morning, so I would appreciate it if Wellington friends could keep their eye out for it.It's a red 2005 Suzuki Swift with the registration number HMY771. He has only owned it for a very short time, so I don't even have any photos. Probably the only distinguishing mark is a small blue and white Auto Care Kilbirnie sticker on the back window.The local cops are obviously aware of it, but please give them a call if you see anything. Spamming social media really does help sometimes. The awesome Niki/Mourning Cupcake spotted it parked in town, called me up and now we've got the car back. I've just got home from recovering the car and a trip to the police station. There doesn't appear to be any major damage and there's still plenty of fuel in it.Woo woo! It's been an exciting couple of hours and Grandad is suitably stoked. Thanks to everyone who shared the news around so lots of people could keep their eyes open for it.
