Yowzer
You will however require a cert after the engine swap, as the 4Y is a higher displacement / different engine. On top of that you'll need driveshaft hoops, so factor that into the cost too. ~$500 for cert, stuffed if I dunno for hoops.
KKtrips
Hoops are $65 each.
Spencer
No one will ever know, it will have about 2 more HP.
xsspeed
What? they sell crate engine 4y's? Are they chinese made under licence spec?
Yowzer
I had a 3Y powered 'lux, had to sell it as I was way too tempted to replace that slow piece of doger with a 5M
Spencer
What? they sell crate engine 4y's? Are they chinese made under licence spec? I'd say they are Toyota spec, they still make them new I'm pretty sure, I think Crowns had them in taxi's up until late 2000's and forklifts roll them.
