DodgySam
This is really starting to fuck me off. My truck starts beautifully...usually. But sometimes it just doesnt want to go. The golwplugs were changed last year and the fuel filter has just been changed. When I check the glowies they are all getting current etc. Have listened to the timer for the glowies and it ticks on and off as it shouls. BUT Today its dead as...it wont start. The timer seems to be clicking on and off in a matter of 2 seconds and this doesnt seem right. Shouldnt it be on longer? Also how do i change/where is the relay. Please OS help me. Im getting tired of never knowing when my truck is gonna start and if im gonna make it to work on time or not. Cheers Dodgy.
smokin' joe
whip them out and run 12v across them, if they don't glow up within about 15 seconds.... they fuxxored. if the vehicle in question is a ford/mazda, i would go out and buy a new set, they seem to last only months in the couriers. mjrstar
How about trialling a bypass switch for a bit, give it 10 seconds of glow via rangily wired in switch and see if it assists?
DodgySam
this may well be a viable option.
