Mr Revhead
Get that and the shell from chch and you have instant win! There were 3-4 MGBs in the show....
yoeddynz
That Imp is cool! And cheap. I didn't see the MGs- where were they?
Mr Revhead
I think next row towards gate from the minis. Might have only been two actually. One white with pnk air cleaners and a webasto roof
mjrstar
anyone else got photos of the R100 engine bay and rear maybe?
Slacker_Sam.
the MG's were directly behind my Triumph. And Nelson needs to have a carshow for "everyday/Cheaper classics" I reckon.
EvoBilly
the people with everyday cheaper classics need to just enter there cars
Mr Revhead
Exactly. That show was for all comers. TBH a car show for "cheap everyday classics" wouldn't really be viable. Costs to put these things on and in reality who is going to pay to come see what their dad drove? Hopefully next year more will turn up. I for one love seeing all the American Muscle. Still, you drive around on a sunday in Nelson and you see a heap of cars that were not there and should have been.
Slacker_Sam.
I'd defiantly turn up to a car show to see cars that my dad drove! I love Everyday classics, Triumphs (and British leyland in genaral) Vauxhall, rover, ford, Hillman, Datsun etc. American V8 powered things just dont do it for me. But thats me. Bullitt
Is that the SQUIRT or whatever the plate is light blue 1600?
Willdat?
I wouldn't call it light blue myself, but yep that'll be the one, has been built up over 10 or so years. He's also the guy on the Smith and Smith glass adverts...
