Thanks, I put a new cap on it . But with all the traveling it's got to do coming up I would rather just change the head gasket. And it give me a good reason to get some ARP head bolts. There are some other issuse going on as well. It has a noisey tappet and keeps getting hot still have a funny feeling the head gasket was fitted upside down but will find out later today when I take the head off. If I had enough coin I would have been keen on that 4AGE set up you have in that ute.
Guest Beaver
Wheels look so good. What size tyres you have on them, try a 175/50?
Guest shaneo
I know a 175/50 would work but I'm worried about the new laws for stretching your tyres
Guest M_C
Glad to hear car is alive again. Perhaps 7mm of valve clearance on #5 valve could have been a little excessive and just maybe have been to source of the not nice noises on trial start...
Guest LOW'N'SLOW
Can you have some meat removed grom the back of rim?
Guest shaneo
Had many many goes with the guard roller and even went down that road as well there was just not enough meat on the back of them. So in the end I took them back and got four 7" rims with +6 off set don't look as fat but still look really good. And I can still drive the car as hard as I want and take the odd passenger as well. Guest mfordy
4 Spokes look good!. Was going to get some from Palmside but they look sharp on the sport. Are they the 13x7" VS2 Wheels that Mag and Tyre sell over Trademe?

I'm happy the 7" work well the 7.5" are a lot off work for the rear

Guest shaneo
No time for a rebuild now Nat's are in a week and I have booked in for the track day as well. Just took the big value head and put it on my old engine it's all in just the headers and the tappets to do and then I will see what it goes like fingers crossed. Guest shaneo
The alloy radiator came from STA parts and the tappet cover was a bonus when I got the latest engine .
