MK2-8-U
a guy in rotorua had a ke26 or 36 with a supra turbo engine. aparantly there was a whole lot of work envolved in the coversion and last i heard it was slowly destroying the car. very fast tho
mjrstar
Sounds like a brilliant idea... do it. It can't be any worse than a 1GGTE in a starlet.

R100
Easy project if your a good welder. You will need the engine from a supra with a mid mounted sump. Sit the front pulley in the same place as the toyota K series engine. Will need to cut firewall back. Should clear brake booster ok. Custom exhaust manifold is needed. A new tunnel and new gearbox body mounts. Get a early w series box with out a remote shifter. Get out the angle grinder, youl be sweet. Youl need lots of time on your hands aswell as its a full on project.
