I ended up parting it out, the block and inlet side and now going into Flauski's 240K and the head ended up in a 260Z I believe. I still have the turbo side.

I'll build another turbo L series motor one day, for my other Z probably.

have the fronts machined off the 7.5" front wheels and have new outers made converting them to 3 piece and somewhere around 10" to 10.5" wide.

I have a set of 17x7 0M's already striped apart, since your going to be cutting your 17x7.5's up would you be interested in doing a deal with a pair of mine and cutting them instead? would love a pair of 17x7.5 barrels so I can get some stager on

Grabbed one from the shed today, offset is 39 but them with my centers being four stud thought they may be different so measured the distance from the back of were the centre bolts in to the inside edge of the rim which is 175mm.

What part of the country are you in?

I'm in Christchurch, the wheels are on the way down to me from Auckland as we speak. Did you measure the offset with the centre mounted from the front or the back? I'll wait till the wheels show up which should be on Tuesday then have a look at them.

Haha gutted, could of swapped them over on the way though Hamilton

The offset is stamped into the face of the centre with the size of the rim as well (like this 7JX17H2ET39) so that's with it bolted in to the front. The centre is 9mm thick and were it bolts up to the rim is 8mm so by bolting it in from behind it should give an offset of 22. Having said that your rims could be completely different (thinner, thicker, different backspace ect)

Awesome progress man, its really come together fast. Im sure most everyone else on oldschool

would love to churn out their projects this quick!

Are the wheel bolts coming from the US ti as per factory? (supposedly this is a fact?)

Good luck for monday. I hope all goes well, I bet you can't wait!

Nah, mine didn't have titanium bolts from the factory, I've just got standard ones to replace them with. They are 7mm which is really annoying and they only need to be 5mm longer. I'd like to put titanium ones in there but the standard ones were expensive enough! It's lucky that I'm only doing two wheels, at least I'll have heaps of the standard ones left over.
