pusherman
any ideas what shares the same input spline and dimentions as the ford sierra 5 speed box? do driveshaft shops carry the input ends in stock?
Escorto.
A standard auto escort driveshaft has the same size/spline as sierra. also the right length for a 2L conversion. have done it myself. my one was 2 peice tho. Don't know if you can get 1 peice auto dshafts.

Escorto.
Quite likely they'll have what you need. they had a toploader yoke in stock when i needed one. Cheap to Just have your spline count/size handy when you ring. and check the UJ size/type too EDIT. Man in post below speaketh the truth

- i5oogt -
yeah as valiant says cortina mk3,4, and 5 will all fit. I have a few spare driveshafts here (chch) if you need one
pusherman
so far i have a cortina front and my escort rear section bolted 2gether but its 30mm 2 long (front half) and that sillly rubber donut thing is to big for the trans tunnel. if you can do a front section without the donut bit id be stoked. il get it shotened to suit and be happy as pig in doody im in aux but would rather courier 1 up than pay what the driveshaft man quoted
