DodgySam
Frame is for all intents and purposes finished! Its all gusseted and ready for a monkey platform floor and paint. I want to use somekind of mesh for the platform so it wont be slippery if/when it gets wet. Then its just a case of building up the bike really. Roll on silliness and hilarity! radman
Looks awesome! Are you just going to rebuild the bike with its standard parts or are there a few things you'll have to change? What color are you going to go for?
DodgySam
Havent decided what colour to go with but im kinda liking the orangey colour the frame was. Have some bits on order/waiting for me to pay for them. Still have to wait for the weekend so i can pick up the frame so we can take some measurements for things like the BB and rear hub width. But anyway here are some more pics of the finished monkey cage and the rail so the monkey can lean to the riders side without getting caught up in the rear wheel. DodgySam
went into Auto paint a coupla days ago and asked if they had any colours they had mixed up and no one came back and paid for...they had a green. Its a pretty awful shade but i love ugly! Just sitting on the wheels from my SS bike but they may have to do til I can get another set for this. DodgySam
AAAAAaaaaand I'm done! Ready to take it for a ride. Rode it down the driveway and its bloody awkward cos it only leans to the right when you ride it. Still awesome tho!
