10Speed
so was out in the shed swapping the variated transmission out of the Vespa (went back to single speed so I can rebuild other) and I saw the Puch sitting in the corner and thought I should so something to it... so removed the engine - not much but at least its a start will strip the rest of the frame tomorrow night hopefully... 10Speed
still after the engine bubblegoose? the forks are up for grabs now (and possibly a front wheel in a couple of months)
bubblegoose
engine could be of some use in either 50cc cafe or trike.. un decided yet forks are poos and wees ill let you keep them got a set of puch mag wheels?
10Speed
forks are very average, have a set of Suzuki K10 forks ear marked for this project... engine is yours if you will use it?
10Speed
now that I have entered a comp (http://irishjon-greasemonkeygrinderfest.blogspot.com/), I have 5 months to get it built. Which means I have changed plans slightly... Bike will now get a rebuilt Puch engine, and I am trying to decide if it will be a single speed or a 2 speed unit, either way it won't be my orginal engine which doesnt have a removable clutch cover and that would make tuning near impossible... And as above Suzuki hydro forks (on the right in the pic below) which should make a huge difference over the stock spring only units, hope to be able to adapt some clip ons to them I am on the hunt for some mag wheels now... 10Speed
they ebr's specifically designed for a Puch but they're not hydraulic... so no plans to use them at the moment
10Speed
have located some wheels from a Peugeot Vogue, that will nearly fit the forks that will nearly fit my frame (that I can nearly fit)

10Speed
putting the horse before the cart I have started thinking about colour schemes... The orange bike is basically my inspiration, and has unfortunately 'stolen' my favourite bike colour (see my Nicolai) so the lead contenders are: thoughts? Toucan
All the colours look awesome man but to be honest what colour wouldn't look good on that bike!!! I'd stay away from the grey though, looks too military spec, go for the bright blue or yellow
Insani-T
Yellow shows off the contours of the frame the best
