Have seen speedway escorts do the above

Just tested my 4doors one on my FE3 last night, looks like it fits  wonder of the CA is taller. Do they go under tension or compression? or both? if tension could you squeeze some strap across? just throwing the silly idea out there. Is there defiantly no space over top? can be deceptive.

lower engine?

I would be wary about stiffening infront of the strut towers before talking to someone from MSNZ im sure ther is some rule about not stiffening impact zones - it might not matter for old cars but im not sure yet as i might do something like this on my car if it is legal

thanks guys

Joe would it still work the same if i changed in a wee bit?

aaabaa.jpg

the yellow would be welded around the engine bay

using maybe 25x5mm flat plate or bigger

and the red made removable using 25mm tube or bigger

dan

either way would be a compromise compared to a straight bar

how about not using a strut brace? maybe just double skin the towers seam weld the engine bay and slam on some fender braces
