Spencer
Possibly a vacuum leak on the throttle shaft, rebuild it, pretty much every carb on these old yotas is due for a rebuild. Look on ebay for a kit 21/22R's are well supported motors
keltik
Throttle shafts have replaceable bushes on these? Or do you have to bore them out and fit sleeves as on the DGV carbs?
Spencer
Bore and sleeve, any shop can do them, but there is probably a kit. Order a decent rebuild kit (check its still the factory aisan carb) then rip it off when it arrives, its childs play. My only advise is use the correct size screw drivers or you will fuck the jets, usually have to grind some down to fit lush, oh and soak it in some decent solvent over night and blow it out well with air. Spencer
http://www.bluebassdesign.com/boonin/carb_faq/ That was one of the first links in google, they aren't that complicated. Its probably cheapest getting one from ebay, but I'd call some carb shops, they will be more expensive (say ~$100 vs $50 off ebay) but at least you can get one asap.
