I thpught you said you were gonna lower it?

Haha, you need to get OS low?

No point in going much lower, we have fuck loads of speed humps in tga.

I carn't fit a can under my chassis, lol.

When i had the old rubber on i could get the jack under it sweet, then when i went to jack it up tonight to swap sprints i could only just get the jack under the car by lifting the car up a bit.

Then wehn i dropped it back down it was sitting on the jack lol.

Had to put her back up and sit it on blocks lol

Will wait try got see smiths engineering about making some 2inch lowering springs up for me.

Just want to make sure the car is gunna be all good mechanically etc.

What's that bottle meant to achieve or whatever?

Ahhh well my plastic one leaks, as the seal at the top, Some Steel Pressed ring is all rusted and eaten away.

And also is a old fashion way of a header tank.

There is only one in and out for fluid and air. As you know cooling systems do not like airlocks.

On this car when you get a airlock the cooling works pretty crappy, water flow disappears and helps overheating.

This way when the system needs water it is sucked from the bottom of the tank, and is replenished pushed out easily.

The top hose will then be working as a swirl pot to bleed air out of the system if there is ever any in it.

The guy that first started using the idea found it so good he no longer had to run a mech, or electric fan at all.

Im hoping for it to help out with the load that the summer has put on the cooling system, and to hold the pressure it should be holding.

Also i do not like the Brass alloy tanks as they did not have a level on them or anything.

Also i can hook a sensor up to the tank to let me know if the water is low in the header tank, i have also used a oil pressure gauge and tapped the thermostat cover out so i know that the pressure is right, if it changes its head gasket etc.

Car looks good as man. Not the colour I would have chosen but it doesnt look half bad at all! What ya paint it in? You do it or someone else?

Gaz

Color was supposed to be alot darker

I preped the car myself after for for 4 days then spent Saturday doing all the minor imperfections, and masked it up primed it with a gun, rubbed it down, then sunday i put the lights back on, drove it to down to our workshop and masked it all back up.

Rolled it into the booth at 7:00am masked up the inside of the doors took the boot off ordered the paint at 8:00am.

Paint turned up at 10am ish, painter rubbed it down with some cleaners, laid down a sealer coat, then shot it with some paint.

I had to go do jobs and i picked it up out of the booth at 11:30, sat in the sun all day going off.

After work i put the lights all back on fixed some wiring and drove home.

So to answer your questions it was painted in a booth with 2K, by a professional painter.

Cost for the booth painter and paint............................................. $500

I will post some pics with the bumper and front lights on, will look mean on the track.
