Im part of the Datsun Club Of New Zealand ( http://www.dastun.co.nz) and i am organising a a Cruise/BBQ and a half day at Udrive (HB people will know what i mean). I own TUFDAT the 120Y in HB if anyone knows me. Friday : for those that can make it up/ down by 7.30pm we can have dinner in Napier at either Lonestar, Hogs Breath Cafe, Breakers etc...Can't really have dinner in Hastings as no parking and too dodgy to leave cars in town! Saturday : cruise out to the beach (Waimarama) for lunch, then out to u-drive for the afternoon, followed by a BBQ at our place and maybe a night of 10 pin bowling then out to Havelock / Napier for those who wanna see the nightlife. Sunday : breakfast at wherever, then out of towners head back Proberbly looking at the weekend of the 15th - 17th Febuary, Just Thought you guys might be keen as you seem to get big numbers etc at your track days and im keen to see and meet a few more old school cars and owners Please post up if your keen and what type of car you would bring, cheers guys. mint16 Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 i been on that track in one of the off roader things, are you allowed to do whatever u want on there skids ect? or does he get shitty if u cut too loose you can take your own car on there and do what you want, i think he doesnt appreciate ppl chewing up the grass and going in the wrong direction, but you can do laps, drifting, and skids. theres been issues with the old lady neighbour living next door about the noise etc, but havent heard about it for a while.
