RT Posted September 26, 2007 Author Share Posted September 26, 2007 just talked to my welding mate. he says that you are not allowed to seam weld your chassis for the reasons being that they cannot tell if the chassis rails have been replaced and on modern cars it affects the crumple zones. There for he was planning on adding extra spot welds inbetween my factory spot welds and painting over it. Extra strength and you would never tell. Extra strength and you would never tell. dont know about your car but the way most are pieced together makes getting the spot welder into places worth while near impossible.
