treggo
Hey Boes. Whats the rules in regards to putting fixed buckies into coupes? I really want some nice seats for my car but all the reclinable buckets look pretty gay. Any help much appreciated, Matt.

Spencer
= you cant have them unless you register it as a 2 door (and cert it) which means removing seats and maybe welding up mounting points

hotdog
ive never had a problem getting a wof in my two door starlet with fixed back buckets ,never had to re register it or get a cert even with my half cage . you have to remove seats, belts and mounting brackets tho
CaMpylobacter
fishnetsare usually two door car style recliners. I've got fixed buckets in mine. How I rad the ruling/was told was that I needed to remove the seatbelts, rear seat, and cover the seatbelt mounting holes. I jsut chucked some bungs in the holes. wof guys are meant to change it form 4 to 2 seater or whatever. only problem is wehn you want to go back, you have to get seatbelt anchorages re-certed, and must fit new seatbelts. my wof guys haven't mentioned it on the 2 wofs i've been through, and have been through numerous checkpoitns, and pulled over once with it like it, no probs. treggo
fishnets are overpriced and nowadays very rarely in good condition.

treggo
recommendations for reapolsterers in auckland?
Gaz
yuhplus they're shit ^constuctive He is right. If you want a buckie for track use etc then fishnets are not the one. They dont hold you in anwhere near as much as any buckie. (except for maybe the Monza ones )
Requiemk
My car isn't a track car so good for everyday use + looks aight. Monza make gear knobs too
zep
You should just take your stock seats out and get them retrimmed. But while you're at it, get them to do some foam work and build up some side support in them too. Should be all good.
