I had a set of mk1 four doors out of my old yellow mk1 and they def didnt fit my old 2door.

Around the wheel arches all good?

Guess it might be a bit more roomie in the 4 door. 4door ones were tight as hell/wouldnt fit in the 2door.

They are a minute fraction of a bit wider, which is just enough that they hold themself up if anything i would say they are a better fit. They slide straigh into the retaining bolt holes.

Cluch cable adjusted.

Rear tailight fixed.

Wheel allignment fixed, tie rod was one turn out. doesnt pull to the right anymore :P .

Just fixed this ASAP as i was just comeing down the end of the airport (4 lanes with a split one way road at miramar end) at 90 odd km to find a car coming head on at me just before i got to the round about!!! An american driver was on the wrong side of the road ... another close call.

Anyways escort locked up and the car pulled to the right so thought i better fix that. Re tested it after adjustment and its sweet.

Rear parcel tray re painted black (didn't realise how faded it was) and rear seats painted black has made a huge different makes the interior look mint all one colour now and fresh.

How has so much shit gone wrong one week after a WOF, bloody fords.

Car just got a wash and is al ready to go to manfield tommorrow morning at half six  YAY CANT W8

Why you want to stiffen the rear auw? With an open diff a soft arse is a good thing.

Anyways - you can borrow my super duper Koni adjustables to try if you want.

I wouldn't piss about with a rear swaybar but I have heard of guys adapting ones from Capris.

The front end feels nice and tight now but the rear end still roles around, though if i stiff'n it up would help? im starting to think its probably just the rear shocks are av / gone as they are still the original standard ones and done truckloads of kms etc.
