oldrx Posted July 11, 2005 Share Posted July 11, 2005 Just had a look at the workshop manual and the figures i stole above are correct. Also from the manual; "Apply Loctite..." - Good idea "Assuming that most home mechanics will not have a torque wrench hich will read this high, you can achieve thi figure by using a length of pipe over your torque wrench. 100 pounds of torque applied 3 1/2 feet from the nut will give a torque equal to 350 pounds" - Pretty good idea too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
